The work is done. The paperwork is what holds up the money.

Every public job wants weekly certified payroll in its own format. Every GC wants a pay app on their form, with the right retainage, the approved change orders and a waiver for last month. Your payroll system does none of that.

So someone in the office retypes it all, late on a Thursday, hoping one wrong classification does not get the whole thing kicked back.

A crew that finished the work should not wait on a spreadsheet to get paid for it.

  • Reports rejected for a classification or fringe mismatch
  • Pay apps returned because the math or retainage is off
  • Payments held until a missing waiver shows up
  • The same numbers typed into three different portals

Built around how subcontractors actually get paid

Chasing a check that is held up over one form is a miserable way to run a business. We are building Payrung with a founding group of subcontractors so it handles the portals, forms and states you really deal with, not a demo version of them.

Three steps to paperwork you do not have to retype

  1. Connect your payroll and jobs

Upload the payroll export you already run and your schedule of values. No need to switch payroll providers.

  2. Review what Payrung drafted

We map workers to classifications and wage determinations, then flag anything that would get a report kicked back before it goes out.

  3. Submit and get paid

Download or upload each report in the exact format the portal or GC asks for, with conditional waivers attached.

Questions

Do I have to change payroll providers?

No. Payrung works from the payroll export you already produce, whether that comes from QuickBooks, a payroll service or a construction accounting system.

Which states and portals will you support?

We start with the federal WH-347 and add state formats and GC portals in the order our waitlist asks for them. Tell us yours when you sign up and it moves up the list.

Is Payrung legal or payroll advice?

No. Payrung prepares and checks paperwork. You stay responsible for what you certify, and we show you every flag so you can make the call.

When can I start?

We are onboarding founding members in small groups. Waitlist members get access first and keep founding pricing.
